Our pieces are made from natural fibers: silk twill, satin silk, wool, cashmere, and blends such as cashmere-linen and cashmere-silk. Each product page states the exact composition of the piece. All fabrics are chosen for how they feel against the skin and how they age.
Our silk scarves come in the classic 90 x 90cm square, and our Fleur de Parfum print is also available as a larger 135cm wool shawl. Stoles, shawls, capes and ponchos vary by style. Full dimensions are listed on each product page.
Silk is our lightest fabric and works year round as a neckerchief, ponytail wrap or bag accessory. Wool and cashmere are warmer, sized larger, and designed to be worn as a shawl or wrap, while our capes and ponchos offer the same warmth in an easy, draped shape. If you would like a personal recommendation, please write to us.
At present, every piece in our collection is available to pre-order. Pre-ordering reserves your piece from a limited production run, and payment is taken when you place your order. The estimated dispatch date is shown on each product page, and we will email you as soon as your piece is on its way.
Every Araha piece arrives in our signature ivory box, finished with a hand-tied green ribbon, the Araha peony emblem and a welcome card from our founders, at no additional cost. Please see the Gifting section of our Contact page for full details.
Pre-order pieces are available in limited quantities, and some prints are produced in very limited runs that do not return. If a piece you love is no longer available, write to us at contact@arahalondon.com and we will let you know if it becomes available again.
Our 90cm silk twill scarves have a fine diagonal weave that gives them body and a soft sheen, so they hold a knot beautifully and work year-round, at the neck, in the hair or tied to a bag. Our 135cm wool shawls are larger and warmer, made to be wrapped around the shoulders on cooler days. Our Fleur de Parfum print by Sam Bailey is available in both, so you can choose the piece that suits the way you like to wear it.
